A word from the chairman

“2007 was a year that saw sizeable growth both of GeoPost Group and DPD, the Group’s international brand.

GeoPost consolidated its presence in high-growth markets: in Spain, with the purchase of an additional franchise; in Asia, with the opening of 10 new branches in China; and in Turkey, with the acquisition of a 25%-stake in Yurtiçi Kargo. In South Africa, GeoPost, in a joint venture with the South African company The Laser Group, set up the company DPD Laser Express Logistics.

In addition, the agreements we have with top-ranking companies, such as Air France and Aramex, give us access to intercontinental routes, in conditions that most benefit our clients.

The other highlight of 2007 was DPD’s expansion in Europe. The DPD network offers its clients unequalled quality of transport and delivery across almost the whole of the continent.

Client satisfaction being our mission, we have chosen to specialise in the express delivery of parcels. It is exactly this specialisation that constitutes GeoPost’s main strength.”
